Our Planet: From Deserts to Grasslands

Netflix’s free documentary series Our Planet sets out to film the natural beauty of our planet while examining how climate change is impacting all its living creatures.

In Our Planet: From Deserts to Grasslands we’ll follow the wildlife and nature in the deserts and the grasslands.

Here a wide variety of animals has made an otherwise inhospitable natural habitat into their home.

Narrated by David Attenborough, the film follows these grassland and desert animals.

Amongst them are the desert elephants scouring the deserts for food and drinks, the herds of bisons roaming the North American grasslands and the smaller animals like the caterpillars living underground.

But as other episodes of Our Planet have shown, these natural habitats are losing their momentum as climate change threatens to make these places barren of life.

The series both serves to witness wildlife in all of its glory and gives us a stark reminder on how it might not last, lest we do something about it.
