Dinosaur Britain is a two-part documentary series sharing the amazing story of many of the dinosaurs that once roamed Great Britain. The series reveals how the dinosaurs hunted, what they ate and how they died from the evidence revealed from their bones.
To illustrate all this, presenter Ellie Harrison teams up with 25‐year‐old Dean Lomax, one of Britain’s youngest palaeontologists, to bring Dinosaur Britain to life as never before.
Episode 1
Episode one tells the story of dinosaurs in Britain. It shows a Baryonyx depicted wandering the halls of British Natural History Museum before going fishing in the Thames, along with Megalosaurus as it rampages through the streets of Oxford.
It continues with an Iguanodon feeding among the anachronistic statues of itself at Crystal Palace, and Nuthetes hunting and causing mischief in and around Stonehenge, as well as the armored Scelidosaurus.
Episode 2
Episode two travels to the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Wight to meet Cetiosaurus, Proceratosaurus, an ancestor to T. rex, as well as Dacentrurus and Echinodon. At the same place, we’ll also get to see evidence of a fight between two other dinosaurs, Mantellisaurus and Neovenator.
