Living Universe

Living Universe is a futuristic science documentary series featuring four different episodes on what the epic voyage to another Earth-like planet would be like.

Each episode highlights the monumental scientific work needed to build and fly such a spacecraft to another solar system, and how it would be to land on one of these Earth-like planets.

Episode 1: The Planet Hunters

Starting on Earth, episode 1 documents how scientists have discovered hundreds of Earth-like planets and continue to find more. Explaining these discoveries, the documentary molds these new Earth-like planets into animated CGI further explaining it in more vivid detail.

To travel to these planets however, is a problem with today’s technology. Travelling the light years of distances between the stars would take a long time with our current spacecrafts. To help us along, Search For Second Earth has created a spaceship made out of pure CGI to explore our universe.

Episode 2: The Explorers

What does it take to get to another star system? Episode 2 looks at the engineering behind the massive undertaking of exploring space. – A new kind of space race has begun, it is time to venture beyond our solar system to explore alien worlds orbiting distant stars.

Episode 3: Second Genesis

Is Earth unique or just one of billions of its kind? Episode 3 rattles the box of space questions and explores the unknown.

We have now found Earth-like worlds outside our solar system, this has reset the odds of finding a Second Genesis beyond our planet.

Episode 4: Contact

In the vastness of space one question always lingers above all else: Are we alone? What would extraterrestrial life look like?

The gravity of the question is so profound that answering it, could open up doors to understanding life itself. From the moment we were conscious as a species, we have been on a quest to answer this question.
