Since IOTA is quantum resistant this might be good news, it isn’t going to switch anytime soon however.
Quantum internet promises ultra-secure, next-generation communications, but is it actually feasible on a global scale?Quantum communication isn’t intended to be faster than regular (classical) communication. in fact, it will be much slower for the forseeable future.
The reason it is desired is because it provides provably-secure encryption, even if the would-be eavesdropper is allowed quantum technology of their own.
