<p>The egg-shaped body of this amphora consists of two parts. The surface is entirely covered with relief and flattened representations making up three friezes.</p>
<p>The upper frieze depicts griffins tearing at stags.</p>
<p>The middle one has the cast figures of Scythians and horses which join together to create different scenes, with the sacrifice of a horse in the centre.</p>
<p>The lower frieze bears elements of floral ornamentation and is decorated by birds and rosettes.</p>
<p>The lower part of the vessel has three pouring lips. <p>It was found dismantled, with the other pieces stacked inside the base, in 1891 in a peat bog near the hamlet of Gundestrup in the Aars parish of Himmerland, Denmark</p>

<p>Whistling arrows are useful during hunting, because the effect on animals of an arrow whistling away high above the ground is often to make it stop, curious to see what is in the air.</p>
<p>This gives the hunter time to launch a second arrow, this time with a game head to kill the animal.</p>
<p>These whistling arrows made by inserting an arrowhead of bone in which air channels have been created. When shot, such arrowheads make a very audible sound through the air.</p>

<p>For each month we can see, starting from the top: the number of days in it; the day on which the Nones (the day of the Moon’s first quarter) falls; the duration of the day and night expressed in hours; the sign of the zodiac; the protecting divinity; work to be attended to in the fields; and the most important festivities.</p>
<p>The translations are vaguely as follows:</p>

<p>While the owner of this skull is unknown, the shop from which this was found, claimed that a traveller had sold it to them.</p>
<p>He added that the man got this skull from his ancestor, a doctor who traveled throughout Asia to help those in need.</p>
<p>At one point he treated an abbot in a Buddhist Monastery in Tibet, and in return the munks gave him the carved tibetan skull.</p>
<p>Studied by historians and experts, one Tibetan Khenpo (Monk-Professor) explained such skulls were carved a long time ago to take a curse off a family or to guide the soul of a mislead human being on the right path.</p>

<p>Sitting at the height of 116 cm (46 in) and 175 cm (69 in) across, the headdress has the form of concentric layers of different colored feathers arranged in a semicircle.</p>
<p>The smallest is made from blue feathers of the Cotinga amabilis with small plates of gold in the shapes of half moons.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><b>A 4.500 years old Egyptian beadnet dress. (Dynasty 4, Reign of Khufu, 2551 &#8211; 2528 BCE)</b> The dress was found in about <a href="https://i.imgur.com/p4ZtGqg.jpg" title="Location" rel="nofollow ugc">7,000 pieces</a> in a  <a href="https://i.imgur.com/rdulANp.jpg" title="Tomb" rel="nofollow ugc">tomb at Giza (G7442, Shaft Z)</a>.</p>
<p>After it was excavated in 1927, the archaeologists assembled <a href="https://i.imgur.com/vgZxRvW.jpg" title="Original Dress" rel="nofollow ugc">the dress slightly different</a> than how it&#8217;s shown today. The dress&#8217; design was corrected over time thanks to archaeologist George Reisner&#8217;s meticulous documentations and excavations.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s how the <a href="https://i.imgur.com/nTWJlIa.jpg" title="Burial Chamber" rel="nofollow ugc">burial chamber and the sarcophagus</a> it was found in looks like. Notice it&#8217;s not decorated, just like the vast majority of burial chambers of the time including the Great Pyramid.</p>
