Clione limacina, known as the naked sea butterfly, sea angel, and common clione, is a sea angel (pelagic sea slug) found from the surface to greater than 500 m (1,600 ft) depth. It lives in the Arctic Ocean and cold regions of the North Atlantic Ocean. It was first described by Friderich Martens in 1676 and became the first gymnosomatous (without a shell) “pteropod“ to be described.

There are 289 species of octopuses. Two-thirds of an octopus\’ neurons are in its arms rather. This allows them to easily do a totally different task with each arm. An octopus has three hearts, one for the body and two for the gills. Their blood is blue. Octopuses are highly intelligent and experiments have shown that they have a memory system that can store both short- and long-term memory. The correct plural of octopus is \”octopuses\” but \”octopi\” is also accepted.

From the artist: A trompe l\’oeil intervention that creates an illusion of a deep gaping crevice on a rigid surface of a cement wall. Made from countless human silhouettes that are trying to escape it, I wanted to represent the wound that this pandemic has left and do it as a tribute to health workers for their respect and solidarity towards the victims. While the image serves as a metaphor for the damage done by the pandemic, it also literally proposes Social Distancing as a way to fix them. In between the large crowd I included scenes of reunion, empathy, care, and love, suggesting a door to a better, hopeful future.

For many years, astronomers have speculated that the most likely way to find evidence of extraterrestrial life is via biosignatures, which are basically substances that provide evidence of life. Probably the most famous example of this would be oxygen- it rapidly oxidizes in just a few thousand years, so to have large quantities of oxygen in an atmosphere you need something to constantly be putting it there (in Earth’s case, from trees).
