Tricky Memory

How reliable is our memory? Tricky Memory shows us how the latest neuroscientific discoveries and how its data suggest we remember memories wrong more often than not.

These might be surprising results to some, but the human brain can re-arrange memory and create false memories, distortion, modification and déjà vus. Our memory cam be affected in many ways, and it deceives us every day.

During this documentary we’ll witness a number of different psychological experiments, showcasing how scientists are able to successfully manipulate our memory.

Furthermore, we’ll investigate the neurological science behind the choices of why and what our human brain does when it tries to recall a memory.

This ability to re-create, change or manipulate past memories could help those with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), those with Alzheimers or any other situation involving memory.

In order to explain the scientific theories and lab tests, the documentary uses CGI to display the link between behaviours and the brain’s mechanisms. These visual effects will help distinguish memories from facts easier for the viewer.
