The old forest is dense and dark with trees hugging the gnarled and twisted branches of its ancient relatives. Moss and fungi cling to the trunks of the trees, and thorny undergrowth thick as a wall lines almost every step. It is so dark under its canopy that it feels like a midnight sun, and the damp air hangs heavy with the scent of rotting wood and wet earth.

Your progress is slow and difficult, as fallen branches and obstructing roots make each step almost treacherous for one to tread through. Rain starts to drizzle, its sound muffled by the green leaves and brown branches.
