A Gathering

The hall you’re in is filled to the breaking point with people. All of them are excitedly singing, eating and conversing. The big hall is bathed in warm candlelight emanating from hundreds of candles. What used to be a mess of broken chairs and tables are all mended, while party-goers are joyfully conversing at every table.

Red-eyed, you immediately get up. Looking towards the direction Maldred was sleeping, you notice he’s nowhere to be found.
