Soldiers in Hiding

Soldiers in Hiding is a 1985 documentary film directed by Malcolm Clarke. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

It is said we memorialize soldiers who die in a war and forget those who survived. This documentary film is a grim portrait of some of those soldiers who were forgotten and what happened to them after the Vietnam war.

The film interviews each war veteran and show how they live out their lonely lives in the American wilderness, each one of them unable to cope with the lasting effects of the traumatic war.
