Death Row: Inside Indiana State Prison

Trevor McDonald meets the criminals who’s awaiting their own death on death row in Indiana’s state prison. By interviewing them, Trevor finds out what got them in prison and listens to their side of the story.

Furthermore, throughout the two-part documentary series, McDonald gains a unique point of view on the America death penalty, its politics and how most of the death row inmates waits years upon years before finally having their sentences carried out.

By getting a perspective through the psychopathic killers locked up in Indiana’s state prison, McDonald finds what humanities dark underbelly really looks like.

When that dark underbelly materializes in front of you as a smiling and polite murderer, who has been in prison for 20 years for killing a mother and her daughter at the age of 13, how do you react?

Is that mind still tainted and ready to kill? Are they rehabilitated? How do you present your psychological questions to understand whether or not that darkness is still there?

By following Trevor into death row we not only get the chance to see how the criminals react in front of the microphone, but also how our host reacts towards the psychopaths who could snap at any given point.
